Ok look, here’s what I want to do. I want to make a little place where I can put the thoughts, stories and interviews that I can’t publish anywhere else, and I want to do it quickly and kindly and for everyone to think that despite everything, underneath it all I’m probably lovely.

You may know me from my Observer columns, or starry interviews, or my agony aunt column in Vogue - I usually write about things like sexual politics or landlords or ageing, sometimes fantasy, pleasure, twice about the symbolic meaning of ladybirds for some reason. Some posts will be free, others paid, I’ll see how it goes. But I want to have conversations, and it would be so, so nice to build a little thing here, away from everything else, with you.
